Gary Tolbert Bell, age 59,
of Monticello, Kentucky. Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, May
16, 2017 in Stearns, Kentucky as the result of a motorcycle
He was born on June 4,
1957 in Monticello, Kentucky, son of the late Wendell Tolbert
Bell and Alva Louise Atkinson Bell. He was a retired
self-employed truck driver, worked as a small engine mechanic,
and owned his own small appliance repair shop. Gary was a
man of ingenuity, integrity and kind heartness, who enjoyed
helping others. His motto in life seemed to be “simple
common sense in doing things”. He was a professional Biker
with years of experience in riding. Gary enjoyed music,
especially the guitar of which he played skillfully. He
was a loving, kind and gentle giant to his family and friends
and was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death
by his parents,
Gary is survived by his
wife; Vickie Stidham Bell of Doraville, Georgia, his son; Wesley
Tolbert Bell of Denver, Colorado, daughter; Niki Lee Bell of
Atlanta, Georgia, a brother; Kevin Bell of Hagerstown, Indiana,
his sisters; Connie and (Billy Joe) Rigney of Muncie, Indiana,
Karen and (Glenn) Crabtree, and Tammy Dishman all of Monticello,
Kentucky, and his grandson; Tolly Reyes Thompson along with a
host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In accordance with his
wishes, Gary will be cremated and a memorial service will be
held at a later date.
