Phillip Wayne Lovell, age 71,
of Nancy, passed from this life on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at
the Jean Waddle Hospice Care Center.
Phillip was born in the Quinton
Community, to the late Earl and Cassie Sexton Lovell, on October
He was retired from Oakwood, of
Phillip was a member of the First
Baptist Church of Bronston and attended the Gunfork Baptist
Church, of Oneida, Tennessee.
He enjoyed tending his yard; took pride
in his yard work and mowing the grass.
He is survived by his wife,
Margie Bowen Lovell, whom he married on January 28, 2014, in
Somerset; his daughters, Jenifer (and Scott) Keith, of Somerset,
and Michelle Watkins, of Nancy; step-daughters, Holly Crabtree,
of Tennessee, and Pam Crabtree, of Virginia; his step-son, Kenny
Cox, of Ohio; his brothers, Jimmy (and Ruby) Lovell, and Jerry
Lovell, both of Indiana, and Billy Lovell, of Tateville; his
sisters, Barb (and Kenneth) Woods, of Oak Hill, Janie (and
Richard) Walden, of Cabin Hollow, and Audrey Sutton, of
Tennessee; his grandchildren, Bailey Keith, Sydney Redden, and
Gavin Watkins; and two step-grandchildren.
Phillip is preceded in death by
his parents; his brothers, Jack Lovell and Hollis Lovell; and
his sisters, Johannah Stevens, Olene Dancy and Bernice Lovell.
Visitation will be on Thursday,
April 14, 2016, after 6:00 p.m., in Southern Oaks Funeral Home
Funeral services will be on
Friday, April 15, 2016, at 2:00 p.m., in the funeral home
chapel, with Bro. Tony Lowe and Bro. Herb Smith officiating.
Burial will be in the Quinton Cemetery.
