Albert R. Durham, 84, of Ferguson, KY passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

He was born in West Somerset, Kentucky on Sept. 2, 1923, to the late Norman and Neva McPheron Durham. Albert was a quiet, gentle person, loved by his family and all who knew him. He was a member of the Pitman Creek Baptist Church. Albert was an Army veteran of WWII.

He is survived by two sisters, Helen Galloway of Erlanger, Ky and Geneva Durham of Ferguson, Ky, also a nephew Michael (and Wilma) Galloway, Somerset, Ky, two nieces, Barbara Valentour and Norma Price of northern Kentucky, and a host of great nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Herbert Durham and Linvard H. Durham; and two sisters, Faye Nix and May Durham.

Funeral services for Mr. Albert R. Durham will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at the chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home at 2PM with Bro. David Muse officiating. Interment will follow in West Somerset Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 12 noon at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home
