Andrew M. York, age 76 of
Eubank, KY, departed this life on Saturday, April 2, 2011.
He was born on January 2,
1935 in Eubank, KY to the late Henry and Isabell Bullock York. Mr.
York was a United States Army veteran, a log buyer for Monroe
Pallet Mill, and a member of the Cuba Church of God in Eubank, KY.
He loved his family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Mr. York is survived by two
sons, Richard D. York of Eubank, KY and Wayne (and Missy) York of
Eubank, KY; a daughter, Connie (and Tim) Roberts of Kings Mt., KY;
seven grandchildren, Jennifer (and Delvin) Williams of Eubank, KY,
Misty (and Charles) Dungan of Science Hill, KY, Amber Smith (and
fiancé, Tyler Barrett) of Yosemite, KY, Jordan Smith of Yosemite,
KY, Shannon York of Somerset, KY, Dylan York of Eubank, KY, and
Ryan York of Eubank, KY; five great grandchildren, David, Jermiah,
and Bryanna Williams, Makenzie Dungan, and Trinity Barrett; two
brothers, Raymond York of Eubank, KY and Harold (and Emmy) York of
Eubank, KY; and a son-in-law, Steve Crowder.
Along with his parents, he
was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise Mullins York, whom
he married on January 14, 1958 in Indiana; a daughter, Sue
Crowder; and three sisters, Mildred Brown, Jesse Mae Stevens, and
Bobbie York.
Visitation for Mr. York
will be Monday, April 4th at 5:00 pm at the Cuba Church
of God in Eubank, KY.
Funeral service will be
held at 10:00am on Tuesday, April 5th at the Cuba
Church of God in Eubank, KY with Bro. Dustin York and Bro. Troy
Roberts officiating. Burial will be in the Cuba Church of God
Cemetery. Mr. York’s grandsons will serve as his
pallbearers.
