Angie Gloria Wilson, age 79
of Nancy, KY departed this life on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at the
Somerset Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on April 5,
1931 in Cain Store, KY to the late Bernard and Myrtle Beshears
Tarter. Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker and a member of the Mt. Zion
Baptist Church in the Cain Store community. Her favorite enjoyment
was being a mother and grandmother and socializing with her
friends.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by
her three sons, Stephen Joe Wilson (and wife, Sue) of Nancy, KY,
Jeffrey Scott Wilson (and wife, Debbie) of Liberty, KY, and Rex
Harvey Wilson (and wife, Cheri) of Somerset, KY; six
grandchildren, Kia Wilson, Amy Dever, Nikki Wilson, Joshua Wilson,
Justin Wilson, and Autumn-Littrell Wilson; three great
grandchildren; a brother, Carl Tarter (and wife, Maggie) of Cain
Store, KY; two sisters, Rova Molden (and husband, Dewey) of West
Somerset, KY and Margie Halcomb (and husband, Uell) of Ingle, KY;
and many, many friends.
Along with her parents, she
was preceded in death by her husband, Eunice H. Wilson; a son,
Gilbert Lee Wilson; two brothers, Dewell and Edward Tarter; and a
sister, Creola Simpson.
Visitation for Mrs. Wilson
will be Wednesday, January 26th at 4:00 pm at the
Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with her funeral service to
follow at 7:00 pm. Bro. Bobby Clark will officiate. A graveside
service will be held on Thursday, January 27th at 11:00
am at the Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy, KY.
The family requests
expressions of sympathy be made to the Mt. Zion Baptist Church
Cemetery Fund c/o Howard Huff.
