Betty Jane Woodall

   March 15, 1940 - July 19, 2011

Betty Jane Woodall, age 71 of Somerset, Kentucky, departed this life on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Science Hill, Kentucky.

She was born on  in Somerset, Kentucky to the late James Ardle and Margaret Whitehead Russell.   She was a member of the Huffaker Church of God and she loved her church.  She was a child of God.  Mrs. Woodall was a homemaker.  She loved quilting, going to yard sales and flowers.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. 

Mrs. Woodall is survived by two sons, David Ray (and Sherry) Woodall and Ricky Lynn (and Gretta) Woodall, both of Somerset, KY; a daughter, Betty Kathryn (and Dean) McKee of Somerset, KY; nine grandchildren, Jennifer (and Scotty) Sneed, Amanda Goodman, Ambria Woodall, Jaime (and Robbie) Ridner, Joshua (and Delilah) Godby, Bryan (and Ashley) Woodall, Jordan Woodall, Jonathan Woodall and Destiny (and Zack) Howard; fourteen great grandchildren, Katelyn Hardwick, Cameron Sneed, Makayla Sneed, Makenzie Sneed, Evan Charles Hensley, Jaydelynn “JJ” Woodall, Makayla Ridner, Daniel Ridner, Julies Godby, Lillian (Lilly) Godby, Katie Woodall, Makayla Woodall, Jaylen Woodall and “Lil” Ambria Northern; four brothers, Harold “Pete” (and Alfreda) Russell of Somerset, KY, Lloyd “Bud” Russell of Somerset, KY, Bill (and Benita)  Russell of Louisville, KY and Bob (and Mae) Russell of Campbellsville, KY; and four sisters, Helen Godby, Ann Hill, Ruth Merritt and Mary (and David) Wells, all of Somerset, KY. 

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Charles William “Chuck” Woodall and Michael Wayne “Mikey” Woodall and a son-in-law, Randy Allen Godby. 

Visitation for Betty Jane Woodall will be Friday, July 22, 2011 after 5:00 pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80, Somerset, Kentucky.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Brother Fether Wilder and Brother Jack Carpenter officiating.  Burial will be in the West Somerset Cemetery.
