Billy E. Bellamy

April 17, 1939 - July 22, 2008

Billy E. Bellamy, age 69, of Nancy passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Mr. Bellamy was born in Kingsport, TN on April 17, 1939 to the late Claude T. & Grace Nevada Collier Bellamy. He was a retired iron worker with Local Union # 70 Louisville, KY.

Mr. Bellamy is survived by his wife Hazel Henderson Bellamy whom he married August 17, 1963 in Wise County, Virginia; a son, Billy Brian Bellamy, Nancy; 2 daughters, Susie & Tim Fox, Nancy, Melissa & Craig Garner, Nancy; 3 sisters, Roberta Wasdin, Hahnville, LA, Alberta Cleek, Kingsport, TN, Norma Wilson, Forrest City, AK; 3 grandchildren, Jacob Stuart Garner, Hannah Rachelle Garner, Timothy Haydon Fox and several nieces and nephews.       

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by 2 brothers, Howard Claude Bellamy, Jimmy Lee Bellamy and 3 sisters, Pauline Salley, Lucille Bellamy, Fay Bellamy.

Funeral services for Billy E. Bellamy will be held on Friday, July 25, 2008 at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home at 1:00pm with Bro J.S. New officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at 6:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
