Bobby Gene “Bo” Tarter
I, age 44 of Nancy, KY departed this life on Tuesday, December 13,
2011 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born on February 15,
1967 in Somerset, KY to Bobby Lee and Norma Jean Smith Tarter. He
was a road crewman for the Kentucky State Highway Department and
attended Okalona Baptist Church. Mr. Tarter loved cars,
electronics, doing mechanic work, and watching movies. He loved
his family and home life.
Mr. Tarter is survived by
his parents, Bobby Lee and Norma Jean Tarter of Nancy, KY; his
wife, Heather Vest Tarter, whom he married on November 3, 2005 in
Somerset; two sons, Bobby Gene Tarter II of Nancy, KY and Alex
Kyle Vest of Nancy, KY; two daughters, Brianna Marie Tarter of
Nancy, KY and Shaylene Rhea Vest of Nancy, KY; two other
significant children in his life, Brittany and Jarod; a sister,
Amy T. (and Shannon) Smith of Somerset, KY; grandchild, Severian
Webb; his father and mother-in-law, Bruce and Phyllis Vest of
Nancy, KY; and a sister-in-law, Cynthia (and Dwight) McCormick of
Illinois.
Visitation for Mr. Tarter
will be Sunday, December 18th at 5:00 pm at Lake
Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80, Somerset.
Funeral service will be
held on Monday, December 19th at 1:00 pm at the Chapel
of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. John Zupancic
officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens
