Clarene
Anna Tarter, age 67 of Somerset, KY departed this life on Tuesday,
May 24, 2011.
She
was born on March 20, 1944 in the Naomi community to the late Burt
Lee and Rose Anna Daws Daulton. She was retired from the
General Electric Glass Plant in Somerset, Kentucky where she was
an inspector. She was a member of the Lake Cumberland
Nazarene Church and also a member of Stepping Stones.
She
is survived by a son, Wiley Jerome Tarter, Jr. of Somerset, KY;
two daughters, Norma Jean Polston and Jacqueline Renee Durham (and
David W. Acton) of Somerset, KY; seven grandchildren, Whitney
Joelle Smith, Brooke Nicole Butt, Holly Raquel Polston, Jarred
Blake Polston, Allison S. Acton, Mason Daulton Durham and Laikyn
Raine Durham; two great grandchildren, Brandon Jeffrey Butt and
Reagan Michelle Butt; one brother, Winford (and Alene) Daulton of
Fairmount, IN; five sisters, Lois (and Wendell) Baize of Crown
Point, IN, Betty (and Bob) Armstrong of Science Hill, KY, Diane
(and Jay) Nevels of Springfield, MO, Barbara Johnson of Nancy, KY
and Dean Henderson of Science Hill, KY; an aunt and uncle, Ceburn
and Beatrice Daulton of Sidney, OH; and a close family friend,
Ronald Johnson of Nancy, KY.
Along
with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wiley
Jerome Tarter, whom she married on October 6, 1960 in Somerset,
KY; two brothers, Ray Lee Daulton and James C. Daulton of
Somerset, KY; a sister, Rosaline V. Malone of Somerset, KY; two
brothers-in-law, Johnny Malone and Kenneth Henderson; and one
sister-in-law, Betty Daulton.
Visitation
for Mrs. Tarter will be Thursday, May 26th at 6:00 pm
at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80, Somerset,
KY.
Funeral
service will be held on Friday, May 27th at 11:00 am at
the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Brother Seth
Tidball officiating. Burial will be in the Tarter Cemetery
in Naomi, KY.
The
