Clayton Keith Jr. of Dahl-VanHook
Road, son of Clayton Keith Sr. and Mary Ruth Thompson Keith, was
born November 30, 1948 in Burnside, KY. He departed this life on
Thursday, March 24, 2011, having attained the age of 62 years.
Clayton is survived by his
wife, Kelley S. Van Nees Keith, whom he married on February 20,
1959; two sons; Clayton Keith of Indiana and Christopher Keith of
West Virginia; two daughters, Brandie Stallings of Texas and
Rachael Keith Young of Somerset; five grandsons, Aaron Keith,
Alexander Keith, Cody Roberts, Kyler Keith, and Clayton Young;
five granddaughters, Elizabeth Keith, Jessica Stallings, Rachael
Stallings, Rebekha Stallings, and Kylynn Keith; a brother, Wayne
(& Pat) Keith of Nancy, KY; a sister, Joanne Childers of
Georgetown, OH; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends
who mourn his passing.
Mr. Keith was preceded in
death by his parents; two brothers, Curtis and Hubert Keith; one
sister; and two infant grandchildren.
Mr. Keith accepted Jesus
Christ as his Savior at the age of 13 and recently began attending
New Heart Baptist Church when his health permitted. He was a
disabled Vietnam War veteran and a member of the Aldine Masonic
Lodge #1412 of Spring, TX.
Services for Mr. Keith are
private. Interment will be in the Mill Springs National Cemetery
in Nancy, KY. The American Legion Post #38 Honor Guard will
conduct full military honors for Mr. Keith.
