Danny
Joe Carrender, age 58 of Somerset, KY passed away on Monday, April
18, 2011 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital due to a terminal
illness.
He
was born on March 25, 1953 in Junction City, Kentucky to the late
Margaret Decker Carrender and Robert Carrender. Danny resided in
Somerset and attended Adanta Active Day Center for the past 38
years with friends and staff.
Mr.
Carrender is survived by one brother, Willie E. Carrender (and
companion, Nancy Thompson) of Somerset; three sisters, Linda G.
Hoskins of Ferguson, KY, Shelia A. (and William) Browell of
Somerset, KY and Doris L. (and Marvin) McMullin of King Bee, KY;
fourteen nieces and nephews; and twenty-five great nieces and
nephews.
He
was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation
for Mr. Carrender will be Wednesday, April 20th at 5:00
pm at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80,
Somerset.
Funeral
service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 21st
at Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. David Green
officiating. He will be laid to rest at the Bronston
Cemetery. Pallbearers for Mr. Carrender will be Ryan Shelton,
Bryan Shelton, Shane Hoskins, Anthony Nicholas, Steven Nicholas
and Tyler Browell. Honorary pallbearer will be Chase Hadley.
The
