Darrin Lee Nevels June 28, 1965 - July 6, 2008
Mr.
Darrin Lee Nevels, age 43 of Somerset, passed away on Sunday, July 6,
2008 at his home. He was born on June 28, 1965 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late James Grover and Peggy Sue Rutherford Nevels. He was a self-employed painter. Mr.
Nevels is survived by his fiancée, Jennifer Mounce of Somerset; three
brothers, Derrick & Dana Nevels of Somerset, James & Betty
Nevels of Monticello, KY, and Robbie Nevels of Ferguson, KY; six
sisters, Jackie & Clifton Whitis of Science Hill, KY, Pam &
Frankie Hardwick of Mt. Vernon, KY, Paula & Wesley Daniels of Mt.
Vernon, KY, Dee Smith of Cincinnati, OH, Tabitha & Dan Shackleford
of Mt. Victory, KY, and Sondra Nevels of Science Hill, KY; and like a
son, Tyler Covert of Somerset. Preceding
him in death were his parents; two sisters, Teresa Griewie and Connie
Glover; two nieces and a nephew. Funeral
service will be held on Saturday, July 12th at 10:00am at the
Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. J.S. New officiating.
Burial will be in the Quinton Cemetery, Bronston, KY. Visitation will be
Friday, July 11, 2008 at 6 pm at the chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Darrin Lee Nevels Fund c/o Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
