David W. Bray, age 57 of
Somerset, KY, departed this life on Friday, January 28, 2011 at
his residence after a long battle with cancer.
He was born on March 6,
1953 in Memphis, TN to Ethel Daulton Bray and the late Glenn Bray.
Mr. Bray was a United States Army veteran and a T.V. repairman for
Cumberland Appliance.
Mr. Bray is survived by his
wife, Bentia Cravens Bray, whom he married on April 11, 2001 at
Watson’s Chapel Christian Church in Casey County, KY; a son,
Ryan Cravens of Somerset, KY; his mother, Ethel Daulton Bray
of Charleston, SC; his mother-in-law and caregiver, Betty Cravens
of Casey County, KY; a brother-in-law, Steven (and Robin) Cravens
of Casey County, KY; a sister, Glennette (and Rick) Badgett
of Charleston, SC; two aunts, Sammie Farley of Indianapolis, IN
and Mattie Bryant of Science Hill, KY; and a uncle, Scott (and
Judy) Daulton of Elizabethtown, KY.
He was preceded in death by
his father, Glenn Bray; and two aunts, Dorothy Daulton and Edna
Evans.
Visitation for Mr. Bray
will be Sunday, January 30th at 12 Noon at the Chapel
of the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with his funeral service to
follow at 3:00 pm. Bro. Bill Haynes will officiate. Burial will be
in the Rich Hill Cemetery in Casey County, KY.
The family requests
