Dora Lee Jones Chaney, 97, of Science Hill , Kentucky , passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital .

She was born in Bethelridge , Kentucky on November 9, 1913, daughter of the late Cyrus and Ameila Cockran Phelps.  She was a homemaker and a member of Clifty Road Baptist Church .

She is survived by two sons, Leo & (Sue) Jones of Science Hill and Tom & (Karen) Jones of Attica, IN, two daughters, Wilda & (Lee) Childers of Somerset and Hilda & (Billy) Trimble of Williamsport, IN, one grandson, Michael Jones, whom she raised as a son, twelve grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur Jones, her second husband, Estel Chaney, her parents and brothers and sisters.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Wiles officiating.

Burial will be in Bethelridge Cemetery .

Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
