Dwain E. Muse, age 77, of
Cincinnati, OH., formerly of Nancy, KY., departed this life on
Sunday, March 20th, 2011 at Christ Hospital in
Cincinnati, OH.
He was born on January 9th,
1934 at Delmer (now Nancy) KY., the son of the late Ira Muse and
Gladys Floyd Muse.
Mr. Muse was Protestant and
expressed his faith in Christ.
Mr. Dwain E. Muse was a
1952 graduate of Nancy High School, and a U.S. Army Veteran of the
Korean Conflict.
After his military service,
Mr. Muse moved to Cincinnati while maintaining a residence in
Nancy, KY. Mr. Muse enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, and sharing
this with his family and friends.
Mr. Dwain Muse was a 30
year employee of Dover Elevator Company, and afterwards was
employed by General Electric for several years.
He is survived by his son;
Wayne (and wife TJ) of Murray, KY., three daughters; Debora (and
Husband Joe) Roberts, of Milford, OH., Emma Jean (and Husband
Frank) Reindl, of Fayetteville, OH., and Patricia Eagy of Goshen,
OH., seven grandchildren; Justin A. Weil, Kelli R. Weil, Timothy
G. Roberts, Nicholas Roberts, Doug Iaroli, Christian Iaroli, and
Kimberly Schiman five great-grandchildren; Emily R. Brown, Kylee
G. Hibbard, Taylor E. Weil, Abbigal J. Sulfridge, and Leah E.
Weil. Also surviving are four sisters; Norma Muse, of Nancy, KY.,
Becky Zula Langford, of Murietta, CA., Eltie Mary (and husband
Lowell) Tarter, of Nancy, KY., Christa Cheek of St. Petersburg,
FL., and a good friend; Jean Eversole of Cincinnati, OH.
Other survivors include several nieces and nephews. He was deeply
devoted to his family.
Along with his parents, Mr.
Muse was also preceded in death by; four brothers, Irvin Muse,
Tinsley Muse, Amos Muse and Gladstone Muse.
Visitation for Mr. Dwain E.
Muse will be Saturday, March 26th after 11:00 am at the
Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with the funeral service to
follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Richard Morgan and Rev. Lester
Caldwell officiating. Interment will be at Lakeside Memorial
Gardens in Somerset, KY. Military Honors will be conducted by
American Legion Post #38 Honor Guard. Pallbearers for Mr. Muse
will be Wayne Muse, Timothy Roberts, Nick Roberts, Justin Weil,
Christian Iaroli, and Joe Roberts.
