Eddie A. Propes

January 24, 1954 - April 16, 2008

Eddie A. Propes, 54, of Mullins Road in Yosemite, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2008 as the result of an automobile accident.

He was born in Lincoln County, Kentucky on January 24, 1954, son of the late Chester Jackson and Ruby Propes.  He was a construction worker.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanine Combs Propes, whom he married on October 17, 1980, two sons, Sheldon Propes and Joey Combs both of Yosemite, two daughters, Trina Mitchell and Tasha Propes both of Yosemite, one brother, Kenneth Pemberton of Junction City, KY, two sisters, Elizabeth Arnold of Liberty, KY and Vivian Goldsberry of Indiana and seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Joseph "Joe"
Propes, Harold Pemberton, Hobert Propes and Lyle Ray Propes.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, April 19, 2008 at Morris &
Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Gerald Sims officiating.

Burial will be in Piney Grove Cemetery in Casey County.

Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at the funeral home.
