Elmer Donald Taylor, 73, of Somerset , Kentucky , passed away Friday, July 22, 2011 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital .

He was born in Rockcastle County , Kentucky on November 18, 1937, son of the late Alice Taylor.  He was a truck driver for Hinkle Contracting.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Sue Goforth Taylor of Somerset , one daughter, Barbara "Deana" & (Kenneth) Estep of Science Hill and two granddaughters, Katharine Taylor Estep and Sarah Elizabeth Estep.

He was preceded in death by his mother and one brother, Alvin Taylor.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Monday, July 25, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Bradley Goforth and Bro. Jack Harris officiating.

Burial will be in Goforth Cemetery .

Visitation will be after 6 PM Sunday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
