Elsie
Elliott, age 55 of Yosemite, KY departed this life on Sunday,
February 7, 2010 at the Ephraim McDowell Hospital in Danville, KY.
She
was born on October 31, 1954 in Pulaski County, KY, the daughter
of Marcus and Lizzie Haste McMullin. She was a homemaker and
enjoyed working in her yard and flower garden.
Mrs.
Elliott is survived by her husband, James “Freddie” Elliott,
whom she married on September 15, 1970 in Somerset; two sons,
Freddie Lee Elliott (Calena) of Casey County and Kelvin Ray
Elliott (Tiffany) of Casey County; three brothers, Robert McMullin
(Iva Lee) of Casey County, Allen McMullin (Ruth) of the King Bee
community, and Ronnie McMullin (Sheryl) of Casey County; eight
sisters, Evelyn Wheeler (Junior) of Casey County, Martha Randolph
(Dewayne) of Cincinnati, OH, Mary Randolph of Cincinnati, OH,
Dorothy Hill of Cincinnati, OH, Sally Abbott of Somerset, KY,
Glenda Hawkins of Somerset, KY, Roxie Davis (Roger) of Somerset,
KY, and Bonnie Steiner of Arizona; and three grandchildren, Nathan
White, Dustin Ray Elliott, and Brenen Elliott.
Preceding
her in death were her parents, Marcus and Lizzie McMullin; a
grandchild, Marissa Amber Elliott; two brothers, Rufus and Marvin
McMullin; a half brother, Downie McMullin; and three sisters,
Margie Jones, Vernell Logan, and Goldie McMullin.
Visitation
for Mrs. Elliott will be Tuesday, February 9th at 11:00
am at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with a funeral
service to follow at 2:00 pm. Bro. J.S. New will officiate. Burial
will be in the Bethelridge Cemetery in Casey County.
