Earl James "Jay" Trevor, 67, of Florence , Kentucky , passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at his residence. 

He was born in East Detroit , Michigan on March 13, 1943, son of the late Earl Arthur and Bertha Grace (Eineichner) Trevor.

Jay was husband, best friend and companion to Grace (Smith) Trevor, father to Dwane, David, James, Steven and Stephanie Trevor, stepfather to Rebecca & (Roger) Grammer and Deborah & (Michael) Abbott, brother to Yvonne & (John) Muneio of Michigan; Gary  & (Lee) Trevor of Illinois; Mary Ann & (Gary) Engle of Michigan; brother-in-law to Renee Trevor of Michigan; grandfather to Katie, Devin, and Lauren Trevor; Sarah and Matthew Trevor; Amanda Trevor; Christopher Walker and Makayla Trevor; Roger & (Christi), Brandon & (Bethany) and Tiffany Grammer; Christopher & (Erica), Bradley & (Noelle) Abbott and Samantha & (Joe) Gilbert and great-grandfather to Jordan, Victoria, Madison and Hayden Abbott; Trinity, Hudson, Maddox, Reese and Sean Grammer. 

Jay was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, James A. Trevor and great-granddaughter, Steffany Grammer.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, August 28, 2010 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Grammer and Bro. James Engle officiating.

Burial will be in Eubank Cemetery .

Visitation will be after 11 AM Saturday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
