Ernest Calvin Winstead, 86, of Eubank , Kentucky , passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at his residence.

He was born in Lexington , Kentucky on August 11, 1925, son of the late Alvin C. and Zora Smiley Winstead.  He was a life long farmer and a member of Eubank Church of Christ.  He was a U.S. Army veteran.

He is survived by one son, Oris Winstead of Eubank.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Hettie Lou Frances Bishop Winstead, his parents and one brother, Edward Winstead.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ferlin Price and Bro. John Baxter officiating.

Burial will be in Science Hill Cemetery .

Visitation will be after 5 PM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
