Glenn Robert “Jake Leg” Bolin, age 44, departed this life on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

He was born on April 8, 1967 in Louisville, Kentucky to Phyllis Ann Cox Jones and the late Oscar Henry Bolin.  He was of the Church of God faith. 

Mr. Bolin is survived by his mother, Phyllis Ann Cox Jones; a son, Michael (and Kayla) Bolin of Tateville, KY; a daughter, Stacy Leann Bolin (and Dustin Davis) of Tateville, KY; five brothers, Paul Henry (and Nancy) Bolin of Dixie Bend, KY, Gerald Lee Jr. (and Carol) Lewis of Tateville, KY, Jimmy (and Delores) Bolin of Burnside, KY, Charles (and Sondra) Bolin of the Slate Branch Community, KY and John Neal of Tateville, KY; three sisters, Patricia Bolin (and Ronnie Dick) and Donna (and Jason) Murphy, both of Tateville, KY and Jennifer Bolin Webb of Louisville, KY; step-mother, Nelley Bolin of Louisville, KY, step-father, Gerald Lewis of Burnside, KY and step-father, Roger Jones of Frazier, KY.

Along with his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Bolin and a grandson, Jace Morrow.

Visitation for Glenn Robert “Jake Leg” Bolin will be Thursday, July 14, 2011 after 6:00 pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80, Somerset, Kentucky.

Funeral service will be held Friday, July 15, 2011 at 1:00 pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Brother Garner Bell officiating.  Burial will be in the Grave Hill Cemetery.
