Gregory L. Kemper, age 47
of Somerset, departed this life on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at
the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born on May 28, 1964
in Somerset, KY to Marion and Myrtle Harris Kemper. Mr. Kemper was
a graduate of Eubank High School and a truck driver for Schneider
Truck Line. He was a member of Ansel Baptist Church and a devoted
Christian, who loved his Lord. He enjoyed helping others. He loved
to hunt, fish, garden, and enjoyed riding motorcycles. He loved
his cat, Lucky. Mr. Kemper was devoted to his family;
brother, parents, children, niece and nephew.
Mr. Kemper is survived by
his parents, Marion and Myrtle Harris Kemper of Eubank, KY; two
daughters, Brittany and Brooke Kemper, both of Somerset; a
granddaughter, Sophia Letny; a brother, Mike Kemper of Somerset; a
niece, Hollie (and Doug) Koger of Nancy, KY; a nephew, Matthew
(and Tracey) Kemper of Nancy, KY; a great niece, Katherine Kemper;
a great nephew, Hunter Rainwater; and many other relatives and
friends.
Visitation for Mr. Kemper
will be Monday, January 9th at 10:00am at the Chapel of
Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with his funeral service to follow at
1:00 pm. Bro. Stanley Childers will officiate. Burial will be in
the Science Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers for Mr. Kemper will be
David Hall, Matt Kemper, Charlie Cole, Allen Baker, Doug Koger,
and Jeff Wilson.
