Hayden “Pumkin” Goff,
age 57 of Somerset, departed this life on Saturday, April 16, 2011
at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born on June 9, 1953
in Somerset, KY to Bonnie Goff Phelps and the late Charlie Hayden
Goff. He was a retired mechanic and auto body repairman.
Mr. Goff is survived by his
mother and stepfather, Bonnie Goff Phelps and Wayne Pap Phelps of
Somerset; three brothers, Chuck (and Darlene) Goff, Eugene (and
Phyllis) Goff, and Jerry Phelps, all of Somerset; a sister, Nellie
(and Mike) Richardson of Danville, KY; many nieces, nephews, and
other relatives; two special friends, Mark Calhoun of Somerset and
Linda Edwards of Somerset; and several other friends.
Along with his parents, he
was preceded in death by a son, Chris Goff; and two brothers,
Ronnie and David Goff.
Visitation for Mr. Goff
will be Tuesday, April 19th from 6-8 pm at Lake
Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80, Somerset.
Funeral service will be
held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, April 20th at the Chapel
of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Don Jones officiating.
Interment will be in the West Somerset Cemetery.
The family request
expressions of sympathy be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
