Heron “Corky” Glen Sullivan, age 52 of Somerset, Kentucky, departed this life on Monday, August 15, 2011 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. 

He was born on June 5, 1959 to Bobby Gene and Vivian Walden Sullivan of Burnside, Kentucky.  He was a retired manager for Frisch’s Big Boy Restaurant.  He was an avid U.K. basketball fan and a craftsman.  He was of the Baptist faith.  He was a loving husband, father, brother and son.

Mr. Sullivan is survived by his parents, Bobby Gene and Vivian Walden Sullivan of Burnside, KY; his wife, Alice Inabnitt Sullivan of Somerset, KY; three sons, Walter Logan Chase Sullivan, Samuel Coslow and Lucas Coslow, all of Somerset, KY;  four daughters, Heather Sullivan and Hilary Lorenz, both of Lexington, KY and Emma Coslow and Angel Coslow, both of Somerset, KY; a brother, Robert Patrick (and Suzanne) Sullivan of Huntsville, Alabama; and two nephews, Cameron and Robert Sullivan.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tabitha Sullivan.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 17, 2011 after 6:00 pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80, Somerset, Kentucky.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Brother David Pendley officiating.  Burial will be in the Burnside Cemetery.
