Jackie Lee Wesley, age 68
of Somerset, KY departed this life on Friday, July 22, 2011 at the
Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born on January 23,
1943 in Science Hill, KY to the late Silas Adam and Iva Toy
Loveless Wesley. Mr. Wesley was a retired inspector for the Crane
Plumbing Company and of the Baptist faith. He loved camping,
farming, and being with his neighbors, friends and family. He
loved to go to the family farm and mow and feed his ducks. Mr.
Wesley loved his family and his grandkids were his life. He had a
host of nieces and nephews that he thought the world of.
Mr. Wesley was married on
November 1, 1963 in Ringgold, Georgia to Anna Dean Ward Wesley,
who survives him. He is also survived by two daughters, LeAnn (and
David) Wesley of Somerset and Ranae (and Dr. Jonathon) Ruby of
Somerset; and his grandchildren, Jordon Wesley of Richmond, KY,
Brandon Wesley of Somerset, Jonathon and Jessica Nelson of
Somerset, and Jared and Mason Ruby of Selmer, TN.
Along with his parents, he
was preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond and OV Wesley.
Visitation for Mr. Wesley
will be Sunday, July 24th at 5:00 pm at Lake Cumberland
Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80, Somerset.
Funeral service will be
held at 3:00 pm on Monday, July 25th at the Chapel of
Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Stacey and Bro. Melvin
Sisson officiating. Burial will be in the Shady Grove Cemetery in
Science Hill, KY.
The family requests
