James Clinton Hale, age 74
of Walhalla, SC, formerly of Pulaski County, departed this life on
Friday, April 1, 2011 at his home in South Carolina.
He was born on October 29,
1936 in Meece, KY to the late William and Elverta Farmer Hale. He
was a self-employed owner and operator of Hale Plumbing.
Mr. Hale is survived by his
wife of 53 years, Frances Gayle Hall Hale of Walhalla, SC; a son,
James Hale of Walhalla, SC; a daughter, Carolyn Cooney of
Walhalla, SC; four grandchildren, Tommy Cooney Jr., Sarah Cooney,
Brooks Hale, and Riley Hale; and two great grandchildren, Tommy
Cooney III and Jasper Cooney.
Along with his parents, he
was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia H. Ruddy; and
son-in-law, Tom Cooney.
Visitation for Mr. Hale
will be Wednesday, April 6th at 1:00 pm at the
Wesley’s Chapel Church with his funeral service to follow at
2:00 pm. Bro. Gordon Chaney will officiate. Burial will be in the
Wesley’s Chapel Cemetery.
