James "Jim" Frank Haste, 73, of Science Hill , Kentucky , passed away Friday November 4, 2011 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital .

He was born on February 9, 1938, son of the late Oscar and Hulda Roberts Haste. He was a farmer and a member of Jacksonville Baptist Church .

He is survived by, his wife of 51 years, Joyce Haste, whom he married on April 30, 1960, two sons, Terry & (Jamesetta) Haste and Rocky Haste, three grandsons, Shane Haste, Sean Haste and Dale Haste, five brothers and four sisters, Mattrie & (Kenneth) Durham, Ken & (Reeda) Haste, Mary Alice Mofield, Carrol "Tooter" & (Patty) Haste, Margie & (Steve) Tilley, Steve & (Darlene) Haste, Shirley & (Willis) Spears, Doug & (Bonnie) Haste and Darrell Wayne & (Christine) Haste.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold Jr. "Harley" Haste and William T. Haste, one sister, Margaret L. Haste.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Monday, November 7, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Bullock and Bro. Josh Wesley officiating.

Burial will be in Smith Cemetery .

Visitation will be after 6 PM Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
