James Allen McKinney, 38, of Science Hill , Kentucky , passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at his residence.

He was born in Somerset , Kentucky on April 4, 1973, son of Bobby McKinney and Betty Mofield McKinney. 

He is survived by his father, Bobby & (Gail) McKinney, his mother, Betty McKinney, two daughters, Brittany Leanne McKinney and Keshia Michelle McKinney, all of Science Hill, half brother, Jacob McKinney, paternal grandmother, Etna McKinney and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Robert McKinney and maternal grandparents, Hoy and Hazel Mofield.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Friday, June 17, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. T.J. Godbey officiating.

Burial will be in King Bee Cemetery .

Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
