Jane Renee West, age 43, of
Somerset, KY departed this life on Wednesday, January 13, 2011 at
her home following a short illness.
She was born in Somerset,
KY on January 19, 1967 to the late Jesse James and Nina Jean Price
Taylor. She was a principal case worker for the Kentucky Cabinet
for Family and Children and a member of the Bethany Baptist
Church. Jane enjoyed boating, horses, outdoors, cornhole,
softball, tennis, motorcycle riding, and children.
She is survived by her
daughter, Polly Anna Jean West of Somerset, KY; companion, Drew
Lane; three sisters, Regina Gale (and Karl) Jefferson of Somerset,
KY, Teresa (and John) Wallace of Somerset, KY, and Diana Bray of
Somerset, KY; two brothers, Larry (and Joy) Taylor of Freeport, FL
and Anthony Taylor of Freeport, FL; nieces, Jessica Taylor, Nicole
Taylor, Dakota Radford, Lora Davis, Shanda Witt, Brittany Taylor,
Christa Taylor, and Whitney Bray; nephews, Jesse Taylor, Eric
Taylor, Casey Taylor, Allen Taylor, Emmanuel Perry, Michael Bray,
Marvin Bray, Jonah Bray, and Dewey Creech; sister-in-law, Linda
Lyen Taylor of Frankfort, KY; brother-in-law, Lee Creech of
Frankfort, KY; and a special friend, Robin Dick.
Along with her parents, she
was preceded in death by her sister, Janet Creech; three brothers,
James David Taylor, Jesse Kendall Taylor, and Kirsten Lee Taylor;
and a niece, Amanda Randall.
Visitation for Jane will be
Friday, January 14th from 4-8 pm at Lake Cumberland
Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80, Somerset.
Funeral service will be
held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 15th at the Memory
Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Meece and
Bro. Clyde Strunk officiating. Burial will be in the Raney
Cemetery.
The family requests
expressions of sympathy be made to the Kentucky Child Abuse
Coalition.
