Jerry Randall Mounce, 63, of Somerset , Kentucky , passed away Sunday, January 30, 2011 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital .

He was born in Pulaski County , Kentucky on April 25, 1947, son of the late Delbert and Lora Baker Mounce.  He was a carpenter and of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his companion, Nancy Sue Barnes of Somerset, one son, Jerry Anthony Mounce of Texas, four daughters, Tonya Barnes of Monticello, Donna Barnes of Mobile, AL, Kelli Richardson and Rhonda Phelps, both of Somerset, one brother, Vernon B. Mounce of Somerset, three sisters, Ruby Garrett of Flatrock, IN, Margie Murphy and Juanita Bowlin, both of Somerset, six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Norman Mounce, Hershel Mounce, J C Wells and Ivan Mounce, one sister, Evander Wells and one great-grandchild, Alexander Bolen.

A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Saturday, February 5, 2011 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Dale Whitis and Bro. Joe Whitis officiating.

Burial will be in Providence Cemetery .

Visitation will be after 6 PM Friday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
