Joyce J. Broyles, age 81 of
Somerset, departed this life on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at the Lake
Cumberland Regional Hospital.
She was born on October 6,
1929 in Waynesburg, KY to the late Elmer A. and Lyda Marcum
Stevens. Mrs. Broyles was a homemaker and member of the Eden
Baptist Church.
Mrs. Broyles is survived by
her husband, Lee O. Broyles, whom she married on December 24, 1955
in Rome, GA; a son, Michael (and Myla) Broyles of Richmond, KY;
two brothers, Ray (and Linda) Stevens of Dayton, OH and Bob (and
Hazel) Stevens of Somerset; and a sister, Kathleen (and Carter)
Poynter of Somerset.
Along with her parents, she
was preceded in death by two brothers, Russell and Carl Stevens.
Visitation for Mrs. Broyles
will be Saturday, July 9th at 11:00 am at the Chapel of
Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with her funeral service to follow at
1:00 pm. Bro. Bert Hall will officiate. Burial will be in the Eden
Cemetery.
