Kenneth “Kenny” Brinegar

    September 16, 1951 - March 17, 2010

Kenneth “Kenny” Brinegar, age 58 of Nancy, KY departed this life on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

He was born on September 16, 1951 in Lexington, KY, the son of William and Lena Mae Dick Brinegar Jr. He was a car crusher for a salvage yard and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Brinegar was a United States Army veteran and a member of the American Legion Post #38. He was a member of the K.B.A. and the Wild Sportsman.

Mr. Brinegar is survived by a sister, Charlotte Ann Brinegar Miller of Russell Springs, KY; like a daughter, Alecia Singleton of Lexington, KY and Alisha Michelle Burton of Nancy, KY; a fiancée, Paula New-Kirk; a niece, Jelena Mae Brinegar Meece of Russell Springs, KY; two great nephews, Charles Grant Meece III of Russell Springs, KY and William Austin Meece of Russell Springs, KY; a special friend, Cassindra Jasper of Nancy, KY; and many, many friends.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Visitation for Mr. Brinegar will be Monday, March 22nd at 5:00 pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with a “Celebration of Life” service at 7:00 pm. Rev. Gerald Jeffrey Popplewell will officiate. The American Legion Post #38 Honor Guard will conduct military honors. Burial will be in the Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy, KY.
