Kenneth Eugene Crutcher Sr.

    September 16, 1927 - February 1st, 2011

Kenneth Eugene Crutcher Sr., age 83 of Windsor, KY departed this life on February 1st, 2011 at his home in Windsor, KY.

Mr. Crutcher was born September 16, 1927 in Tulsa, OK to the late Paul W. and Lula A. Borden Crutcher. Mr. Crutcher served in the U.S. Coast Guard in WWII. Mr. Crutcher was a postmaster of Windsor, KY and computer programmer for San Diego Gas and Electric Company for 27 years. Mr. Crutcher also was a 4-H Leader, US Power Squadron and a member of Victory Christian Fellowship Church.   

Mr.Crutcher is survived by his loving wife Barbara Loraine Carter Crutcher whom he married on March 23, 1951 in Reno Nevada;  five children, Kenneth Crutcher Jr. (and wife, Laura) of Windsor, KY, Linda Beach (and husband, Dennis) of Windsor, KY, Virginia Fleet (and husband, Blake) of Chattanooga, TN, Becky Gow (and husband, Jeff) of Somerset, KY, Debbie Lőser (and husband, James) of Seneca, SC, fourteen grandchildren; Christina Bates, David Beach, Jennifer Gow, Kenny Crutcher III, Richard Gow, Cassie Fleet, Elizabeth Crosby, Matthew Crutcher, Tim Fleet, Ben Fleet, Jonathan Lőser, Lori Lőser, Aaron Crutcher and Joshua Lőser; ten great grandchildren; Sarah Bates, Samantha Beach, Truth Linnins, Jacob Crutcher Harris, Brianna Crutcher, Jamie Crosby, Cameron Crosby, Leah Crosby, Alexis Fleet and Jordan Fleet; one brother, Thomas Crutcher (and wife, Marvine) of Liberty, KY.

Along with his parents Mr. Crutcher is preceded in death by, a daughter (Barbara Crutcher), one son (James Paul Crutcher) and a brother (James L. Crutcher)

Visitation for Mr. Kenneth Eugene Crutcher Sr. will be Thursday, February 3rd at 5:00pm at Memory Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 west highway 80, Somerset, KY 42503

Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 4th at 1:00pm at the Memory Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Harrell officiating. Burial will be at Jennie’s Chapel in Windsor, KY.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Pulaski Co. Alzheimer ’s disease Respite Center Box 393 Somerset, KY 42502.
