Larry “Bubba” Dale Phelps October 11, 1970 - May 24, 2008
Mr.
Larry “Bubba” Dale Phelps, husband of Michelle Wood Phelps, age 37,
of Somerset, departed this life on Saturday, May 24, 2008 at his
residence. He was
born on October 11, 1970 in Somerset, KY to Ronald and Lucille David
Phelps. He was a self-employed heating & air technician and of the
Baptist faith. He enjoyed softball, U.K. basketball, and golf. Mr.
Phelps is survived by his parents, Ronald and Lucille Davis Phelps of
the Barnesburg community; his wife Michelle Wood Phelps, whom he married
on June 30, 2001 in Sevierville, TN; a daughter, Ashton Grace Phelps;
three brothers, Tony (and Garnedia) Phelps of Science Hill, KY, James
(and Rhonda) Phelps of Shopville, KY, and Steve (and Lisa) Phelps of
Somerset; two nieces, Ashley Bolen and Sarah Phelps; four nephews,
Jessie Johnson, Brandon Phelps, Dustin Phelps, and John Phelps; four
great nieces and a great nephew. Preceding
him in death were his maternal grandparents, Ike and Ethel Davis and
Paternal grandparents, Jaime and Thelma Phelps. Visitation
for Mr. Phelps will be Wednesday, May 28th after 6:00 pm at
the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home. Funeral
Services will be Thursday, May 29th at 2:00 pm at the Chapel
of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with burial in the Pine Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers for Mr. Phelps will be Tony Phelps, James Phelps, Steve
Phelps, Clifford Phelps, Dustin Phelps, Brandon Phelps, Harold Phelps,
Jaime Phelps, John Phelps, and Jessie Phelps. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Larry Dale Phelps Memorial Fund c/o Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
