Lawrence Hershell
Patterson, age 68 of the Slate Branch community, departed this
life on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Lake Cumberland Regional
Hospital.
He was born on November 15,
1942 in Somerset, KY to the late Lawrence Thomas and Irene Marcum
Patterson. He had worked for Cumberland Tire Company as a front
end alignment technician. Mr. Patterson was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Patterson is survived
by three sons, Scott West of Indiana, Lawrence H. Patterson II of
Cincinnati, OH, and Patrick A. Patterson of Jenkins, KY; two
daughters, Cynthia Carr of Indiana and Stephanie Patterson of
Covington, KY; sixteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and
a brother, Danny Patterson of Somerset, KY.
Along with his parents, he
was preceded in death by a son, Vincent Patterson; two infant
children who died at birth; and a brother, Jerry Marcum.
Visitation for Mr.
Patterson will be held on Friday, January 28th at 12
Noon at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with his
funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm. Bro. David Muse will
officiate. Burial will be in the Slate Branch Cemetery.
The family requests
expressions of sympathy be made to the Lawrence Patterson Memorial
Fund c/o Lake Cumberland.
