Lee “Buck” Ostis
Johnson, age 38, of Somerset, departed this life on Friday, June
17, 2011 at his residence.
He was born on September 3,
1972 in Somerset, KY to the late George Matthew and Ruby
Cuppernell Johnson Sr. He was a disabled electrician and a member
of the White Oak Baptist Church. Mr. Johnson enjoyed Camping,
fishing, and four-wheeling.
Mr. Johnson is survived by
two brothers, George Johnson Jr. of Nancy, KY and Gary Compton of
Somerset, KY; a sister, Mary Ann Young (and James Gossett) of
Nancy, KY; three nieces, Kendra Johnson, Ruby Nicole Neal, and
special niece, Tammy Neal; two nephews, Dakota Young and Cody
Patton; a great special nephew, Trey Compton; two great
nieces, Olivia Johnson and Jennie Gossett; and two great nephews,
Jaiden Matthew Johnson and Aaron Lee Gossett.
Along with his parents, he
was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lee Ostis and Josephine
Johnson and Clarence and Elsie Cuppernell; and a great special
nephew, T.J. Compton.
Visitation for Mr. Johnson
will be Monday, June 20h at 6:00 pm at Lake Cumberland
Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80, Somerset.
Funeral Service will be
held on Tuesday, June 21th at 2:00 pm at the Chapel of
Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Harold Harris officiating.
Burial will be in the Johnson Cemetery in Jabez, KY.
In lieu of flowers, the
family requests expressions of sympathy be made to the Lee
“Buck” Ostis Johnson Memorial Fund c/o Lake Cumberland Funeral
Home.
