Mae Hancock, 79, of Stevens
Lane in Eubank, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at Lake
Cumberland Regional Hospital.
She was born in Rockcastle County, Kentucky on January 10, 1929,
daughter of the late Ancel and Lena McKinney Reynolds. She was a
homemaker and a member of Calvary Pentacostal Church.
She is survived by two sons, Ralph Hancock, Jr. of Eubank and Troy &
(Kim) Hancock of Mt. Vernon, KY, seven daughters, Jewel Wolfe of London,
KY, Judy Hancock of Somerset, Sandy & (Farrel) Blanton of Somerset,
Lena Rose Dunbar of Russell Springs, KY, Sharon & (Vester) Meece of
Eubank, Ruth & (Eddie) Stephens of Somerset and Rita Hancock of
Science Hill, one brother, Bobby Reynolds of Mt. Vernon, KY, two
sisters, Peachie Reynolds of Somerset and Mazie & (Russell) Poynter
of Harrodsburg, KY, fifteen grandchildren, twenty
one great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Hancock, Sr., who died
on June 28, 2007, one daughter who died in infancy, Vivian Ann Hancock,
four brothers, Charles, Everett, R.J. and Jimmy Reynolds, one sister,
Evelyn
Glossie and one grandchild, Melody Vanhook.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday, April 25, 2008 at Morris
&
Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Ernie Wyatt officiating.
Burial will be in Valley Oak Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
