Margaret Ann Edwards, age
84 of Somerset, departed this life on Sunday, December 25, 2011 at
the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
She was born on March 6,
1927 in the Cabin Hollow community of Pulaski County, KY to the
late William F. and Ida Delena Godby Taylor. She was a retired
seamstress for the Palm Beach Clothing Company and a member of the
Denham Street Baptist Church.
Mrs. Edwards is survived by
a son, Larry Wayne (and Linda) Edwards of Somerset; a daughter,
Brenda Kay Nevells of Somerset; two grandchildren, Charles
Bradford Cassada and Russell Allen Edwards; three great
grandchildren, Talon Cassada, Cole Cassada, and Conner Cassada;
and a sister, Myrtle Marie Colyer of Somerset.
Along with her parents, she
was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edwards Jr.; a
grandson, Timothy Wayne Edwards; four brothers, William Cleo
Taylor, James Harold Taylor, Percie Arnold Taylor, and Johnnie
Perry Taylor; and three sisters, Della Mae Trimble, Via Letha
Ballou, and Ruby Jean Bolin.
Visitation for Mrs. Edwards
will be Wednesday, December 28th at 6:00 pm at Lake
Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80, Somerset.
Funeral service will be
held on Thursday, December 29th at 2:00 pm at the
Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. J. S. New
officiating. Interment will be in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
