Margaret (Haught) Padgett, 79, of Waynesburg , Kentucky , passed away Monday, April 11, 2011 at her residence.

She was born in Eubank , Kentucky on September 2, 1931, daughter of the late Jesse E. and Stella Anderson Haught.  She was a seamstress at Belk's and a member of Double Springs Baptist Church .

She is survived by her husband, Joseph C. Padgett of Waynesburg, three daughters, Reta Susan & (Jerry) Hampton of Waynesburg, Vicki Lynn & (R.J.) Harding of Tell City, IN and Anita Jo & (Tim) O'Dell of White Bluff, TN, two brothers, Bruce Haught of Waynesburg and Grady & (Rissie) Haught of Eubank, one sister, Marjorie Measel of Sierra Vista, AZ, seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and lots and lots of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Jesse Matt Padgett and one brother, Carter Haught.

A funeral service will be held at 7 PM Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at Double Springs Baptist Church in Waynesburg with Pastor Ron Shepherd officiating.

Visitation will be after 5 PM Wednesday at Double Springs Baptist Church .

Burial will be in Olive Cemetery .
