Margola Mae Hargis

November 10, 1921 - July 1, 2008

Margola Mae Hargis, 86, of Forsythe Lane in Waynesville, North Carolina, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at her residence.

She was born in Ludlow, Kentucky on November 10, 1921, daughter of the late Edward and Eudora Mae Bryant Dungan.  She was a homemaker and loved to ride horses.

She is survived by her husband, William V. Hargis of Waynesville, NC, whom she married on February 18, 1942, two daughters, Donna K. & (Dennis) Forsythe of Waynesville, NC and Diana Wilson of Middletown, OH, one brother, Morena Dungan of Cary, NC, four grandchildren, Luke Day, Dwayne Forsythe, Jesse Forsythe and Jennifer "Jamie" Forsythe and three great-grandchildren, Wyatt Forsythe, Katie Forsythe and Leighann Forsythe.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Maurice Dungan and one sister, Melba Lester.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Saturday, July 5, 2008 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. David Muse officiating.

Burial will be in the McKinney Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 PM to 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
