Marvin "Running Water" Wilson, 67, of North Highway 27 in Science Hill, Kentucky, passed away Monday, June 29, 2009 at his residence.

He was born in Liberty, Kentucky on March 15, 1942, son of the late Alvis R. Wilson and Nora Virdie Gossor Wilson Rodriguez.  He was self-employed and of the Church of God faith.  He was a member of the Somerset Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by two sons, Marvin Lee & (Jo Ann) Wilson of Mt. Vernon, KY and Mark Anthony & (Tammy) Wilson of Stanford, KY, two daughters, Kathy Rose & (Dan) Davidson and Connie Nora Watson, both of Stanford, KY, one brother, Ralph Wilson of Stanford, three sisters, Dorothy Hubble and Glenna Rice, both of Junction City, KY and Judy Perkins of Stanford, three grandchildren, Tarra Wilson, Derek Watson and Amanda Irvin and one great-granddaughter, Trinity Irvin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Esley Wilson and one sister, Lora Snow.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Junction City Cemetery in Danville, KY.

Visitation will be after 6 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
