Mattie Lucille Morrow Williams, age 63 of Somerset, Kentucky departed this life on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Somerwoods Nursing & Rehab.

She was born on October 6, 1947 in Pulaski County, Kentucky to Opal Mitchell Morrow and the late Arnold Morrow.  Ms. Williams was a self-employed hairdresser for many years and a car hop at Finley’s Drive-In for many years.  Ms. Williams attended Denham Street Baptist Church.  She was faithful to her Christian beliefs and her church thanks to the guidance of her grandfather, Brother Alonzo Mitchell.  She loved attending Gospel singings. 

She is survived by her mother, Opal Mitchell Morrow of Bronston, KY; two daughters, Michelle (and Bryan) Riddle of Somerset, KY and Tammy (and Ricky) Beechboard of Monticello, KY; three grandchildren, Rachel Taylor-Beechboard, Christopher Riddle and Joshua Riddle; two brothers, Russell (and Mary) Morrow and Richard Morrow, both of Bronston, KY; and three sisters, Evetta (and Ed) Phelps of White Lily, KY, Charlene (and Tony) Hall of Bronston, KY and Judy (and Danny) Polston of Somerset, KY. 

Along with her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Morrow and two sisters, Mary Preston and Bernice Shelton. 

Visitation for Ms. Williams will be on Friday, June 3^rd after 6:00 pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80, Somerset, KY.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 4^th at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Brother Ferrell Morrow, Brother Keith McKim and Brother J. S. New officiating.  Burial will be in the Morrow Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Ricky Beechboard, Bryan Riddle, Russell Morrow, Joshua Riddle, Christopher Riddle and Jesse Yancy.
