Maxine “Penny” Cox
Maxine
“Penny” Cox, age 67, of Nancy, KY, departed this life on Sunday, May
11, 2008 at the Williamsburg Nursing Home, Williamsburg, KY. She was
born February 9, 1941 in Blackey, KY to the late Walter and Cora Partin
Banks. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Ms. Cox
is survived by a son, Bill Banks, Winchester, KY; a brother, Bud Banks
of Winchester, KY; two sisters, Mamie Adkins of Louisville, KY and
Vivian Morton of Nancy, KY; four grandchildren; seven great
grandchildren; and her companion of many years, Cecil Ronnie West. She was
preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Cora Partin Banks. Graveside services will be Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at 2:00 pm at the Military Springs Cemetery in Jabez, KY. with burial to follow.
