Mildred Ellen Hines, age 84 of the East Somerset community, departed this life on Sunday, April 3, 2011 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

She was born on January 31, 1927 in Somerset, KY to the late Lewis and Gertrude Tomlinson Mounce. She was a graduate of Somerset High School Class of 1955, retired cashier for the Food Fair North, and a member of the East Somerset Baptist Church. Mrs. Hines loved flea marketing and yard sales.

Mrs. Hines is survived by Michael (and Vicki) Hines of Somerset, KY; three grandchildren, Stephanie Hawk, Scott Flynn, and Cory Flynn; five great grandchildren, Kelli Hawk, Kendahl Hawk, Jaymie Flynn, and Jake Flynn; and two sisters-in-law, Gladys Mounce of Nancy, KY and Brenda Mounce Buchanan of Somerset, KY.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Bud Hines and three brothers, Howard Mounce, Noel Mounce, and Junior Mounce.

Visitation for Mrs. Hines will be Tuesday April 5^th at 6:00 pm at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80, Somerset.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, April 6^th at the Remembrance Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. David Muse officiating. Burial will be in the Somerset Cemetery.
