Nancy Ann Massey, age 76 of
Somerset, KY departed this life on January 26, 2011 at her
residence.
She was born on December
31, 1934 in Somerset, KY to the late Otho and Nell Sumpter Fulcher.
Mrs. Massey was a housewife, enjoyed quilting, silver sneakers at
the YMCA and her church family and friends. Along with being a
great cook, and a member of the Harmony Fellowship Baptist Church
she especially loved her family.
Mrs. Massey is survived by
her husband, Raymond “ Nick” Massey , whom she married
on August 29, 1953 in Somerset, KY ; from this unity they were
given a son, Raymond “Nicky” Massey ( and wife, Sandy) of
Somerset, KY; three daughters; Debra Webb (and husband, Mikel
“Cobb” ) of Somerset, KY; Bobbi Jo Wilson (and husband, John)
of Somerset, KY; Barbara Hansford( and husband, Todd ) of
Somerset, KY ; eight grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; two
brothers , Glen Dawes of Somerset, KY , and Jimmy Fulcher (and
wife, Margaret) of Nancy, KY; five sisters, Lucille Cundiff of
Somerset, KY; Peggy Reesor (and husband, Tommy) of Nicholasville,
KY; Rosemary Reeves(and husband, Tom) of Irvine, KY ; Honey
Harris ( and husband, Hollis) of Somerset, KY; Lorraine Martin(and
husband, Lee) of Somerset, KY.
Along with her parents, she
was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Mounce
Visitation for Mrs. Massey
will be Thursday, January 27th at 5:00pm, at Lake
Cumberland Funeral Home, 1046 West Highway 80, Somerset, KY 42503
Funeral Service will be
held on Friday, January 28th at 11:00am in the Chapel
of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Adam Owens, Bro. Earl
Owens, and Bro. Jeff Whitis officiating. Burial will be in
Lakeside Memorial Gardens, Somerset, KY
The family request the
