Betty Sue Fitzgerald

Betty Sue Fitzgerald age 83, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Monday, December 14, 2020 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Betty was born May 8, 1937 to the late Lorne Trimble and Alene Hislope Trimble Molen in Trimble of Pulaski County, Kentucky.

She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Nancy, Ky and loved to work the family farm, garden, bake pies and grow her African Violets.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Lorne Trimble and Alene Trimble Molen, her husband, Elton Fitzgerald, brother, Billy Trimble, sister, Freeda Molen Wilson.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Greg Fitzgerald (Mary Sue) of Somerset, brothers, Wesley, Donald, Bobby, and Ronnie Molen, grandchildren, Matthew and Chelsie Fitzgerald, Chris and Chad Pierce, and Lisa Anderson along with 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 21, 2020 at 12:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 1:00 P.M. with Bro. Larry Butte officiating, burial will follow in Mill Springs National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gideon Bible Fund.
