Patrick Aaron Burdine, age
61 of Waynesburg, KY, departed this life on Tuesday, December 13,
2011 at the Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford, KY.
He was born on January 26,
1950 to the late Herman and Emmaphine Price Burdine. Mr. Burdine
was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War, self-employed
truck driver and of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing and car
racing.
Mr. Burdine is survived by
his wife, Beverly Meece Burdine, whom he married on September 15,
1973 in Somerset, KY; a daughter, Martha Burdine of Science Hill,
KY; a grandchild, Colby Burdine; two sisters, Charlotte (and
Sammie) Dykes of Somerset and Janet Albright of Eubank, KY; and
two nephews, Sammie Allan Dykes and Stephen Aaron Dykes.
He was preceded in death by
his parents.
Visitation for Mr. Burdine
will be Friday, December 16th after 10:00 am at Lake
Cumberland Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at 1:00
pm at the Woodstock Cemetery. Bro. James Floyd will officiate.
