Ray Dean Pence, 58, of Somerset , Kentucky , passed away Sunday, January 8, 2012 at his residence.

He was born in Somerset , Kentucky on July 11, 1953, son of the late Joe and Ethel Perry Pence.  He was a truck driver for Ready Mix and a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene Debord Pence, whom he married on October 19, 1979, two daughters, Deanna Pence of Somerset and Angela Pence Collins & (Jody) of Eubank, one sister, Dorothy Bumgardner of Indianapolis, IN and two grandchildren, Andrew Ray Collins and Bailey Jo Collins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, James Pence, six sisters, Lola Bray, Rosemary Glover, Helen Sexton and three sisters who died in infancy.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Arnold Larkin and Bro. Danny Grider officiating.

Burial will be in Etna Cemetery .

Visitation will be after 6 PM Wednesday at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
