Richard Scott “Rosie”
Rosenberger, age 69 of Somerset, KY departed this life on
Saturday, February 5, 2011 at his home.
He was born on May 9, 1941
in Turner Station, KY to the late Frank and Virginia Scott
Rosenberger. He worked as a surveyor for John Horn Surveyors Inc.
Mr. Rosenberger was a loving husband, father, grand-daddy, and
great grand-daddy. He proudly served his country in the United
States Army during the Vietnam War (1964 -1966).
Mr. Rosenberger is survived
by his wife, Everetta Gividen Rosenberger; three sons, Robert
Evans (and his wife, Melody ), Marty Jo Breeck, and Richard S.
Rosenberger (and his wife, Sandy); four daughters, Desiree
Thompson (and Carl. D. Perkins), Zoetta Rene Brumley (and husband,
Henry), Jacqueline Lynn E. Rosenberger and Heather Izetta Powell
(and husband, David); seventeen grandchildren; seven great
grandchildren; a sister, Belinda Bo Deathrage, and a niece and
nephew.
He was preceded in death by
his parents.
A memorial service will be
held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 12th at V.F. W.
Post #269 in Somerset, KY.
A committal service will be
held for Mr. Rosenberger on Friday, February 11th at
1:30 pm at Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy, Ky. The
American Legion Post #8 Honor Guard will conduct full military
honors for Mr. Rosenberger.
