Sammie Daulton Farley, age
78 of Brownsburg, IN, formerly of Somerset, departed this life on
Thursday, February 17, 2011 in Indianapolis, IN.
She was born on February
19, 1932 in Somerset, KY to the late Samuel E. and Carrie Norfleet
Daulton. She was a homemaker and member of the First Baptist
Church of Somerset.
Mrs. Farley is survived by
her two sons, Daniel (and Lois) Farley of Brownsburg, IN and Mark
(and Pam) Farley of Indianapolis, IN; four grandchildren;
five great grandchildren; a brother, Scott Edward Daulton of
Elizabethtown, KY; and two sisters, Ethel Bray of Charleston, SC
and Mattie Bryant of Science Hill, KY.
Along with her parents, she
was preceded in death by her husband, Milton L. Farley Jr., whom
she married on June 9, 1950 in Somerset, KY; a daughter, Sandra
Lee Farley; and three sisters, Edna Evans, Dorothy Daulton, and
Margaret Ann.
Visitation for Mrs. Farley
will be Monday, February 21st at 12 Noon at the Chapel
of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with her funeral service to follow
at 2:00 pm. Chaplain Clarence Floyd will officiate. Burial will be
in the Somerset Cemetery.
